About Keenan
At fifteen years old, Keenan Hudson stood before a judge and pled guilty to third-degree murder. What followed was nearly 15 years of incarceration — years he used to transform himself through education, faith, and an unshakeable belief in a different future.
Since re-entering society in 2016, Keenan has built multiple businesses, purchased property, authored two bestselling books, and founded a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. He serves as Re-entry Commissioner under Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker and leads restorative justice initiatives at Penn State University.
Every week — without fail — Keenan walks into Pennsylvania state prisons and Philadelphia youth facilities to deliver books, run workshops, and provide one-on-one coaching. He is on the ground, building trust, changing lives from the inside out.
